To make sure your stay goes as smoothly as possible, Pissevaches municipal campground, in the Aude, puts activities and entertainment at the heart of your holiday experience. On site and in the surrounding area, everything is designed to offer moments of relaxation, leisure and conviviality for everyone.
Within the campground itself, numerous cultural and sporting activities are offered free of charge. Whether you're sporty, a reader, an adult, a teenager or a child, dedicated spaces let everyone make the most of their free time. The campground has several pétanque grounds where internal competitions run throughout the season, play areas for younger children, zip lines, a climbing rock, and spaces dedicated to gym, strength training and relaxation. Classes and taster sessions also punctuate life at the campground, with dance, stretching, relaxation and yoga sessions, plus children's workshops. Live music is on twice a week, and activities such as bingo round out the programme. Additional sports facilities are available close by, with a multi-sports field, CrossFit and fitness zones, and a football pitch inside the campground. Entertainment is offered in July and August.
Just a few minutes away, the resort of Saint-Pierre-la-Mer extends the experience with a particularly rich range of activities. Mediterranean lovers can enjoy swimming, lazing around, beach games, fishing, or the naturist beach. The area also invites you to explore the AOP La Clape wine route, with tastings at wine estates and wine-related events held throughout the season. Walking and mountain-biking trails, and iconic natural sites such as the Œil Doux sinkhole, offer wonderful escapes into nature.
Saint-Pierre-la-Mer is also a lively, vibrant place, with its large daily market, night market, funfair, exhibitions, beach sports tournaments, open-air cinema evenings and nightclubs. To help you get around, a free little train departing from the campground takes you straight to the heart of the resort, so you can make the most of all these activities without any hassle.
